A sturdy stainless steel stirrup which looks like a normal iron but has a rubber release tube integrated into its construction The tube is held in place by two lugs and is designed to release in the event of a fall. The stirrup has an inbuilt backwards incline to help encourage the rider's foot into a 'heels-down' position and make it easier for the leg to rest in its most effective position. The stirrups are supplied with Mountain Horse's Stirrup Control System 3 Grip treads.
