These are the breastplates of choice for endurance and trail riding tack. The design of the Zilco Deluxe Breastplate gives the horse the ultimate in comfort when hill work puts a lot of strain on the breast collar. The design spreads the load across more than just a skinny, biting strap. The load and strain gets cushioned exactly where it is needed, without requiring a heavy, wide, cumbersome western collar. There are numerous adjustments for the perfect fit. The Zilco Deluxe Breastplate, weighing only 21 oz., is soft and pliable and the material lubricates with sweat. This breastplates can be converted for use with a western saddle by removing the wither strap.
