The Full Cheek has two vertical rods on a fixed ring. These straight bars(toggles) provide more side pressure (against the cheek), making steering easier. The ring of the Full Cheek is smaller than that of the D-shaped bit with less leverage effect as a result. The upper toggles of the TRUST Full Cheek are slightly curved outwards so that they do not get stuck under the noseband. A single-jointed mouthpiece has one joint, which puts less pressure on the tongue than a double or multi-jointed mouthpiece. This mouthpiece acts mainly on the layers and sides of the tongue.
