Draw reins have two parts, one in leather and one made of cord. We select 16 mm full grain French leather so that our reins are hard-wearing and stretch-resistant. The nylon cord helps the reins slide smoothly through the bit without any discomfort for the horse. They feature stainless steel snap hooks to attach to rings on the classic girth and can be attached to girths with side reins. They also come with an adjustable buckle for girths without D-rings. Advantage of the draw reins Draw reins use a pulley-effect to stop the horse carrying its head too high by lowering it if its head moves out of the required position and keeping it there.
